Light: It loves direct, intense sunlight. If you leave it in low light, its stems will become grassy and elongated and it will not flower. (South-facing windows are the best place for it).
Watering: Very sensitive to excessive watering. Its thick trunk stores water. You should let the soil in the pot dry completely between waterings. In winter, when the plant goes dormant, watering should be very limited.
