Linda is commonly referred to as the Lady Palm (Rhapis excelsa); a stylish and hardy houseplant that is very popular for indoor spaces with its clawed leaves and neat appearance. Appearance: Glossy green fan/claw leaves, upright and slow growth, very neat and classic appearance.
Light: Medium to high indirect; tolerates low light to some extent, but growth will be slower. Direct sun can burn the leaves.
Watering: Water when the top 2 to 4 cm of soil is dry. The soil should remain slightly moist, but not waterlogged. In winter, watering intervals are longer.
Humidity: Tolerates normal house humidity, but moderate humidity will make the leaves more lush and green.
Soil: Light, well-drained soil; a mixture of potting soil + perlite + a small amount of cocopeat or peat moss is suitable.
